Will Lavelle
Will moved to London in 2015 and got involved with Wandsworth Radio through friends from his days in student radio at Durham University. Structural Engineer by day, he works on major infrastructure projects including Crossrail and Thames Tideway, designing concrete and steel and all that fun stuff. Entertainer by night, Will performs stand-up comedy, sings in the London Contemporary Voices Choir, performs table magic at weddings and events, and of course presents his popular easy-listening evening show Chill With Will on Wandsworth Radio!
His favourite artists include Jamie Cullum, Norah Jones, Nat King Cole, Gregory Porter, Dire Straights and Frank Sinatra; he also enjoys running, baking, and writing about himself in the third person.
LOVE WANDSWORTH: It’s a really friendly area with lots to do and a great atmosphere. A mix of young and old, there’s always new places to explore, pubs to find, and restaurants to discover. My favourite spot has to be Clapham Common on a summer’s day – a great place to grab an ice-cream, watch the world go by and bump into old friends. Maybe even go for a jog if I’m feeling particularly energetic. Not until I’ve finished my ice-cream though. That would be ridiculous.
