As a born, bred and proud resident of Wandsworth – with a keen nose for local news – joining the station felt like a natural calling for me. After studying English at university, I spent several years working in magazine publishing alongside completing an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism. I’ve also dabbled in the world of local news, working as a freelance reporter for The Ealing Times, The Hillingdon & Uxbridge Times and the South West Londoner. After years of working with the written word, I wanted to try something new and test my skills – and best RP voice – as a radio newsreader and reporter. It’s been a fun and challenging experience so far, and I look forward to learning more!

LOVE WANDSWORTH: The amazing community atmosphere, and the fact there’s always plenty going on for all tastes and budgets. I love strolling on Clapham Common, exploring its food markets and checking out shows at the Battersea Arts’ Centre. My ‘go-to’ spot is St John’s Hill for its huge selection of quirky cafes and (very reasonably priced) independent restaurants.
