My radio career began back in the days when you had to put needles into the grooves of black round things and play audio by sticking plastic boxes into tape players. I took ‘go west, young man’ too literally and went from Reading to Exeter, stopping at various radio stations en route.

Thankfully, microphones haven’t changed much and I can occasionally string a coherent sentence together so am delighted to be a part of Wandsworth Radio.

LOVE WANDSWORTH: When I gravitated to London back in the 90s, I made Wandsworth my home and have only ventured a short way South since. Being a keen theatregoer and real ale fan, I often head towards the borough with the Battersea Arts Centre, in particular, satisfying both pastimes by providing theatre and an annual beer festival. The pubs are great too!
