Nobody returns the same from Singing With Nightingales…

Beatrice Harrison was a BBC sensation back in the 1920s with her duets with nightingales.  Sam Lee brings this bang up to date and right in the middle of our borough with his Singing with Nightingales, a nocturnal concert, held at the Battersea Arts Centre.  Bev brings us her experience of it on Tuesday’s ArtsWatch.

Out There on Fried Meat Ridge did so well when it was at the White Bear in Kennington, that it has now transferred into Central London. Ian met the writer and creator of the piece, so give it a listen on Wednesday.

On Thursday we have Bev’s report for Watch This Space.  An empty space in Southside shopping centre taken over as part of Wandsworth Arts Fringe to showcase the art of local residents with learning disabilities.  Art you can feel and touch…

ArtsWatch airs 6.30pm after the news headlines Monday to Thursday.  If you have something you think we should cover, contact me Lesley@wandsworthradio.com
